GuideMark

A metric tree that shows where users drop off, and why

GuideMark maps every page of your product on its own, shows where visitors leave your funnels and explains what goes wrong. Then it ties each fix to the metric it should move.

Every page, mapped

A map of your product that builds itself

Install the script once. As people use your product, GuideMark discovers each page, captures it and draws the paths between them.

Every page, discovered
Pages appear on the canvas as visitors reach them, each with a screenshot, so you see the product the way users do.
Real paths, with traffic
Lines between pages show how often users move from one page to the next.
Funnels with drop-off
Pick the pages a visitor should pass through, in order, and see how many sessions reach each step and where the biggest drop is.
Common paths, or the way from A to B
See the routes users take most, or pick a start and an end page and see how people get from one to the other.

AI diagnosis

See where users get stuck, and why

The map shows where people go. The diagnosis explains what goes wrong on a page and what to do about it.

Frustration signals
Rage clicks, dead clicks and bursts of JavaScript errors, recorded against the page and the element they happened on.
A root cause for each page
AI reads the signals, your GA4 bounce rate and session time, page-speed results and screenshots, then rates the severity, names the root cause and the type of fix.
From finding to fix
When a guided tour is the answer, GuideMark drafts it and you create it in one click. Ask follow-up questions about any page in plain language.

Metrics

Tie every fix to the metric it should move

Above the pages, map your north-star metric to the metrics that drive it and the work meant to move them, all on the same canvas.

From north star to initiative
Add your north-star metric, the metrics that drive it, and the initiatives meant to move them. Label each link: drives, reduces, influences, blocks or improves.
Numbers from GA4
Metric nodes sync their values from your GA4 property, each with a target to aim for.
Fixes linked to outcomes
Link an initiative to the tour that ships the fix, and watch the metric above it.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Add one script tag

Install GuideMark on your site. Pages start appearing on the metric tree as soon as people visit them.

  2. Step 2

    Connect GA4

Optional, and worth it: it adds bounce rate and session time to each diagnosis and feeds your metric tree.

  3. Step 3

    Diagnose, fix, measure

Run the analysis, create the fixes it suggests, and follow the metrics they should move.

FAQ

Metric tree FAQ

It is one canvas for every page of your product, the funnels through them and the metrics they drive, built from how people really use it. GuideMark discovers the pages visitors reach and draws the paths between them with visit counts, shows where sessions drop out of a funnel, and AI diagnoses the pages where users struggle and suggests a fix.

No. Once the script is installed, pages and the paths between them are discovered automatically from real visits, and each page gets a screenshot on the canvas.

A metric tree is a map from your north-star metric down to the metrics that drive it and the initiatives meant to move them. In GuideMark, metric nodes can sync their current value from your GA4 property, and initiatives can link to the tours you ship, so each fix sits next to the number it should change.

A rage click is several fast clicks on the same element; GuideMark counts three or more within a second. It usually means something looks like it should work and doesn't respond. A dead click is a click on something that isn't interactive, which shows where the design suggests an action that isn't there.

For each page, GuideMark's diagnosis combines frustration signals, GA4 bounce rate and average session duration, page-speed results (performance score, LCP, CLS and tap-target issues), desktop and mobile screenshots, and the number of tours already running there. It returns a severity, a root cause, a suggested fix and a fix type.

No. GuideMark does not record session replays. It records page visits, the paths between pages, specific frustration events and page-level metrics, and when it captures a screenshot it hides password, email and phone number fields, plus any element you mark with data-sensitive or data-pt-mask, in the user's browser before anything is sent.

No. The page map, funnels and frustration signals come from the GuideMark script itself. Connecting GA4 adds bounce rate and average session duration to each diagnosis and lets metric-tree nodes sync their values from your property.

Yes. Every GuideMark plan includes the metric tree, with its page map, funnels and AI diagnosis. Plans are priced by monthly active users and start at €24/mo.
